A Star on the Rise

In the nearly 20 years since our company’s inception, numerous leaders from across our organization have been recognized for their accomplishments, but Tiffany Butler being named as a 2021 Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association Rising Star is especially meaningful for us. The award itself is about recognizing professionals who are in the first 15 to 20 years of their career, contribute significantly to their organization in multiple areas, and exemplify leadership.

This couldn’t describe Tiffany more accurately. She joined Health Perspectives Group just over 10 years ago, and she’s come into her own here in a way that mirrors the company’s evolution from a small, but innovative, patient relationship management company to an industry-leading, tech-enabled services firm that is charting a new course in how bio-pharmaceutical companies partner with healthcare consumers.

Most recently, Tiffany leveraged a deep understanding of our proprietary processes to lead the development our next-gen patient engagement platform, the Advocate Resource Center™ (ARC). With compliant and consistent in-system workflows, an array of value-added modules, and an interactive Client Portal, ARC 2.0 has not just modernized, but revolutionized, the way we engage with our biopharmaceutical clients and the patients we serve on their behalf.

Tiffany has also led the way in helping us leverage technology to meet the needs of under-served patient populations. In 2015, Tiffany represented Health Perspectives Group in a partnership with Howard University on a National Institutes of Health (NIH) SBIR (Small Business Innovation Research) grant to develop and study a mobile app enabling peer-to-peer support for caregivers of children living with sickle cell disease. Fast forward to 2020 when so many patients, isolated and need of support, are able to benefit from the innovative thinking that came out of that fruitful partnership.

Tiffany exemplifies our values outside of her work with Health Perspectives Group, as well. She co-founded ConnecT1D, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit providing support and services to the Type 1 diabetes community through programs which bring people together through meetups, retreats, and other uplifting experiences. As a board member, she chaired the signature family camp, an annual event focused on creating connection and access to disease education to support better disease management.

The Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association (HBA) is a global nonprofit organization comprised of individuals and organizations from across the healthcare industry committed to achieving gender parity in leadership positions and enabling organizations to realize the full potential of their female talent.

As a women-owned, WBENC-certified business ourselves, we couldn’t be prouder to see one of our own honored with this award.
